Instagram Blowouts

Oh yes, I remember most of that now, made Flip sound more like Zero.

He was asking for donations to buy a Custom Shop Tele for something like £3500 and basically dressed it up as “I want this guitar, anyone that has ever appreciated my skating should give me $5 and I can get it”

Surprisingly, I don’t think anyone was that keen

(Thats not what got him kicked off, this was last year)

I think that might’ve been what got him the boot from Primitive though

Wasn’t the final straw at Plan B around him being flown to a country for a demo but once there was too busy to go to the demo because he really needed to buy Gucci bags?

I heard that but that he wanted to buy a watch.

That was it…LV.

Tryna be a rapper on skaters salary.

I dunno…some of those rappers live pretty trife.

Darrell was kinda ballin’ for a minute. Who was his last shoe sponsor after Element? He was on Plan B, Volcom…can’t remember who else.

Wasn’t he on Vans? Don’t think he ever got a pro shoe with anyone though?

DC as well I think.

Pretty sure he wore some Circa Appleyard’s while he was on Vans as well.

Edit: There it is:

Again: WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH DARRELL STANTON?? - Jenkem Magazine

lol was just reading that

I’m not sure if I understand – You want me to pay you $35,000 to use your answer from Instagram?
If that’s what you choose. That question got answered.

Also turns out he did have a pro shoe… on Element

Not ever seen his Element Trio part, just watched it now though and it’s actually pretty great.

Yeah, that Element Trio video was meant to be the Element Shoes video but the footwear got canned so they took the three dudes who rode for Element boards and used that footage as a hardwear based video.
If that makes sense…

And yeah, Stanton was on Vans for sure. Just can’t remember the order of shoe sponsors for him… (Also haven’t even tried looking once)

Nice thing he is with him is that he clearly doesn’t believe his own hype…
