For some reason I really like that Gino just seems to enjoy random sports playing whether it be tennis or ice hockey. I’m surprised this hasn’t resulted in one those ‘stylin’ on you’ Slap threads though.

Yeah I was like that too to be honest, or at least leaning in that direction but I just really appreciated that last clip of him. Does that alone warrant a pro board for the next few years? Probably not, but as a fan I just want to see him skate and do tricks that at least remind you of how good his old footage is. If that’s his only output this year though…

No I actually like it, I think Janoski made a good comment to this effect in that recent Danny Garcia Out There thing, it adds something to a pro when they have other things they’re into as well. You could argue Gino (where did this ‘Luigi’ thing come from?!) has been a little too distracted for a pro skater but I think that’s all been covered before.

He’s not the greatest dude in the world, but this seems needlessly toxic, digging up stuff that I’m sure he wishes he hadn’t said, from half a lifetime ago. Plenty of people saying shit like that now, I’m sure. And meaning it badly.
Some of the shit that ran in magazines, in UK magazines, would probably make headline news now, holy shit. WH Smith would be in quite a position if anybody actually complained about some of the shit that used to run.
