Absolutely terrible trick selection, obviously, but I respect people who do long slides/grinds like that. I’d like distance to be the next trend (with good shoes and tasteful flip tricks).
He’s got skills but so has Joey Brezinski.
Oh no doubt, they both stink.
What’s this?
Do you reckon she gets griptape nail?
You’d have to start with the Mama skate $1400 trousers thread on Slap. It’s just more horrible Cariuma/Berrics affiliated nonsense.
‘’ What’s this?’’
ABP in the trouser thread a while back but here it is again - Gifted Hater has a couple of episodes covering the $1400 skate pants debacle.
This from his board sponsor’s Instagram page:

GAME CHANGER!
Will regret this but I am actually quite interested in new board tech. If claims are true. Wouldn’t mind a crack on one.
Anyone remember those metal boards that advertised in Big Brother mag? Wtf were they on
My dad bought me one of those when I was like 12 in the hopes it would mean never having to buy me a replacement again, it got lethal pretty quickly as the plastic insert thing on the end wore away and it was just a razor sharp aluminum edge.
Just had flashbacks to someone using one of those 20 years ago. Chapman wasn’t it?
Lars Tetens.
Lars Tetens. Always had some dude posing a tailslide on a waist-high flat rail. The boards were laser-cut to look like comedy tribal tattoos or something completely fucked like that. Pretty sure that Lars Tetens guy fancied himself as a polymath, setting himself out as a pro skater, industrial designer, musician, artist, engineer, entrepreneur, etc.
He certainly did. He had a Big Brother interview where he was quite clear about his brilliance. Most of the ads ran in Thrasher though. Still better than the current double-page Rip and Dip ads in there.
The boards look like a Klingon battle axe.
You might have to scan and upload the interview for an April fool prank or something.
I had one of these bitd w/ Trackers and Pure Juice. Really heavy, unresponsive and outright dangerous tbh. Fortunately for me it got stolen.
On the plastic deck tip, did anyone give those Santa Cruz Nu-Wood (?) decks a go. They looked hideous and cost about £90 a shot. I guess the fact that they disappeared as quickly as they arrived says it all really.
I’ll probably leave it tbh. He comes across as a nice person, weirdly. I’m sure he was super successful at some regular job so managed to live out his fantasies as a pro-skateboarding artist rockstar.
omg his site is still up https://larstetens.com/
