I think that would be hell to light as you just can’t put stands on a track, so there is a certain level of forgiveness but I do agree. It’s the flashes bouncing off of everywhere. That’s what gives that ‘my first…’ feel.
Possibly unpopular opinion, but I don’t feel like Atiba has shot a decent skate photo since he went all in on shooting basketball.
Mid-2000s Atiba was gnarly good. Mid-2010s…not so much.

Graphic grip and shorts - two of the worst things to have in a skate photo.
Having said that, the trick itself is bonkers and very dangerous, and I’m not usually that arsed about Tyshawns skating but it’s impressive.

It’s the catch rather than the angle that puts me off. Do you think he’s shot it so they can make sure the griptape sponsor is in there?
I’d prefer the flip once it’s fully caught.
Loved this one at the time. It’s light years better for me than the Tyshawn photo as a non-photo expert person due to the symmetry and the rocket I can forgive.

Tyshawn flipping it is sick as fuck though. Just a shame the photo quality, I think, doesn’t match the trick itself.
