Just interesting to think about the importance of a good editor though.
An obvious example for me is strobeck. Great skating criticizes because of the angles.

Part of me was wondering if the guy in the clip skates with Durao and it’s just cross pollination of the same ideas and it will probably not go further than a couple of people.
Rudy Johnson’s one foot lip slide in Video Days. The trick in its various combinations has been around for 30 years.
Mate, this is totally different. Doing a one foot into a grind, a slide or a manual is fully legit, doing it out of a trick is pretty illegal.

When I first saw the Durao late one foots I thought it was novel and kind of cool, (switch backside flip over a hip with the late foot off), and him messing about/ and adding a check out my control/style affectation thing. The frequency with which they are appearing in his footage now is leaning me towards believing that he has some some kind of tic.

You do come to expect the one foots.
If you watch his raw footage he often does tricks with and without the one foot, he mixes up his lines and switches tricks up without warning, he throws out sloppy lines that are sicker than the stuff they use in the part.
He’s a bit of a freak of nature. Interested to see people copying him because it could go down some interesting paths.
