The person who edited this forgot to add a wheel screech sound after that splendid one over a street gap in SF. Always thought that wheel screech was so dope.
So much power in that Pier 7 line in the clip that comes right after that too. Long live Kalis.

Proper form. Lands ready to push as well. To be honest I’d rather watch Kalis push

Yes of course this is pretty much his best one.

Talking about decent flatground maneuvers… (second slide, dunno if the forum is gonna link this properly):

Anyone see Slam’s Insta post about them stocking Edglrd the other day, and the avalanche of negative comments which followed, resulting in them changing the caption twice before eventually deleting the post? Noticed a few other UK shops carrying it but yet to see anyone else shout about it.

Background reading for those unfamiliar:

Wait, so everyone was commenting that they shouldnt stock it because it’s backed by some rich Jews?

No, because it’s owned by Harmony Korine, a Trump-courting Zionist.

The backing of someone who has donated 700 grand to the Tory party is surplus, I imagine.

Tory party donors are backing the company.
Harmony korine attends friends of IDF fundraisers.
Harmony and wife are friends with the kushner/trumps.
The company has no credibility within skating, isn’t owned by a skateboarder and has bought its way in by throwing money at the popular crowd.

Their own website describes themself thus:

ā€˜Driving EDGLRD’s work is a proprietary suite of entertainment software products that creatively utilize artificial intelligence, visual effects, computer generated imagery, virtual reality, and augmented reality’.

Stoked to see people kick up a fuss in the comments of the slam post and endorsed and liked by people that work in the UK industry, including slams own employees.

I struggle to understand how any shop owner could take a punt on this steaming pile of shit. Stocking it in shops just lends credibility to the company and pulls sales away from deserving companies

Perfect company to do a colab with carriuma

This. Disregarding the financial aspect - it’s objectively a terrible brand.

I see they deleted the Instagram post and there’s no Edglrd stuff in their online shop. Either it sold out quickly, bought by people who buy streetwear perhaps or they just pulled it from their website. The latter I think if the Instagram post was deleted. Good move, hopefully the comments made them think what the fuck are we doing.

Pretty certain the person Dent Face was alluding to in that thread other week is the same one posting/changing the captions on that slam insta post too. Fuck EDGLRD and fuck Korine’s blood money scum pals

Has Marnold figured this out yet

You’d hope not but I find it hard to imagine how you couldn’t be aware.

Skateboarding has always had leeches and vultures so this isn’t really anything new but it will be interesting to see how it plays out in a year or so.
Will the skaters who have lent their name to Korine and contributed to edglrd’s cultural cachet come out and say they didn’t realise what they were getting into?

Lol of course not. The skate industry is fucked - this company is offering big Ā£ to anyone who wants to look past how embarrassing this crap is. Anyone jumping on knows it has 12 months at best so will (I’d imagine) take the money.
