Alex does them a fair bit but his are more like late flip ones rather than straight kickflips. I think he refers to them as being heelflips though himself.

Nollie backside bigflip seems to be the more common variant of that trick. Must be easier to throw in the revert compared to a frontside flip revert.

Nah. Itās nollie backside. Which I know is oft debated. Think about a nollie backside heel or nollie big heel. Itās just the kickflip version of that

Itās like an optical illusion because heās catching and turning with the opposite foot to the one used if you were travelling forward on flat.
