Yeah that was grim. Afraid to say that this happens much more often than we probably think. Hence the disappearance of pros etc. Not just stuff like this but horrific knee injuries etc etc.

Nyjah on his slam and consequent injuries. Bleeding on the brain sounds bad, and, although he’s putting a brave sort of present-focused positivity on it, sounds like he’s worried what his future might look like.
Hopefully he can get through this without serious long-term brain damage. He has nothing to prove. It would be cool if he turned into a low-impact skater and just gave skate lessons to kids with a helmet on. Make the best out of a bad situation.
