I appreciate I am saying this from a biased position but to bang on about skater owned for so long and then dive straight into any sports shoes at the first opportunity made me feel like heās shallower than I gave him credit for, even without the MJ call out.

It was a bit shitty on all sides, I guess? MJ jumped ship knowing his new model was about to drop, MC wanted it kept secret, to give Lakai enough time to off load them onto shops, knowing the rider had already left. Leaving shops to deal with the fall out of having the stock.

No, itās not that important if you want to think of it that way. Iām sure MJ wants to be remembered for his lovely skating rather than being a dick but then again some people like being a dick and some think that itās character and makes a better story.
You can make the scenario as small as you like. For example, do you want to be remembered by your family circles positively? Not a serious question to answer, just for example.
