I remember seeing this photo in a mag, (Poweredge maybe?), bitd and thinking that Saecha was a guy that Iād not heard of who was on SMA Rocco Division /World flow or something similar. A little later I found out that Sarcha was, in fact, a girl that I hadnāt heard of who was on SMA/ World flow or something similar.
Well, sheās now a Skateboarding Hall of Famer and hereās an interview with her.
That was cool. Just a blatant rip off of Hot Ones, (that I donāt ever watch but am aware of), but I am a fan of all things Chico. VA the most coherent Iāve ever heard him and the first time Iāve seen S.A.D. in a long while.
Met her at said event, CMOAC. Rad woman. Seemed a lot like sheād thought sheād been forgotten about, which is fair because I guess she had, until SHoF wanted her on his list.
Interview with Jake Rosenberg, Michaela Ternasky-Holland (MTās daughter), and the lead curator of NYCās MotMI.
I watched/listened to this interview this afternoon. For some reason I thought that Spidey would be some sort of burnt out numb nuts, but I was completely wrong, (sorry about that Spidey). It was really enjoyable and heās an interesting guy. Can recommend *
*I have been working with some particularly toxic resin whilst fixing surfboards all afternoon so my judgement might be a little clouded, but Iām pretty sure it was good
obligatory rick ibaseta response.
this part is bonkers progression and modern concept of style wise.
the whole of new dealās 1281 is worth re-watching too. very overlooked.
interview is brilliant as expected
Some amazing parts in 1281. Very technical for the time, especially people like Chris Fissel and Ron Knigge who were pushing the pressure flip game in this one.
Chris Hall has a great part too, loads of great tech flatground and manual stuff.
Donāt forget Armandoās Nollie progression!
Yep, finished it tonight
