I seem to remember some video about svitak years ago where he keeps every board he ever skated and lays them out and they run for miles out of his house and on his drive etc
Shame he doesn’t give any boards away!

I’ll save this for work listening tomorrow.
That was really great and def worth a watch.
I love any and all 90/91 footage.
(Poss a little bit too long and a bit vague about some bits mind.)
Miner vid was alright, definitely felt a bit surface level
I can’t not see John Connor whenever he was onscreen though
When I think Jon Miner, I think of this. Probably one of the best montages in the video.
Great sunday vibes.
All the mid 90s footage shot in Nor Cal was so good! Supernaut and Adrenalin were rad, I feel like I didn’t fully appreciate what they did as a kid.
Yeah, definitely worth a watch. They need someone to really tighten things up, though.
So much of that was flabby and reiterating the same points again and again, for all the times they mentioned focus it seemed to me like Vice forgot that the main focus of their piece was Miner!
Yeah the whole middle part felt like an Emerica TIS-SG celebration
Pretty basic, but when you’ve got documentaries (or anyone speaking on camera for that matter) a good practice is to transcribe their audio and put together a “script” from that. I find it gives a much clearer direction.
It didn’t feel like they’d properly figured out the direction of it or how much time to spend on each chapter… shame really.
I’ve had the pleasure to hang out with Javier a few times in the past and he’s exactly as he comes across in the video. Absolutely patrician winning at life levels whilst still being lovely. Bravo
Was always a big fan. One of those that I always wanted more footage from.
That DIY looks so sick
Sessioned a ramp with him one time at a comp at Bryggeriet. Happened to meet him again at some work event when I was at Converse about 12 years later and he recognised me, CMOAC. Lovely fella. Absolutely cold murders ramps. Switch backsmiths at 100mph? Yes please
Fantastic transition skater but there’s something pretty special about street Javi too.
Lovely.
Didn’t realise he grew up skating la kantera. All makes sense now
The Basque country Bailey. Massive fan of Javier and that clip above was a great watch. The back d to front rock over the spine, wonderful.
Love Javi
Remember watching him rip Radlands at a Quiksilver demo shortly before it closed
