I can still picture hiding away in the corner of my college library, having skipped lectures, so I could watch the Savannah Slamma video for the first time on one of the library VCRs after I rented it from the skate shop that morning and couldn’t wait until I got home. It goes without saying that Gonz was the standout, (only 4th place, grrr). That switch method was a total head scratcher at the time.
