oh yeah shit i forgot, will link when this 2gb ambient ish selection uploads in 30 mins time

I had/have that CD…somewhere.

Got a meal box from a fancy restaurant and it came with a QR code for a Spotify playlist you could stick on while scoffing it and pretend you’re actually there instead of at home with two kids in the background spoiling it. I thought it had some good shit. Anyone else into this kind of thing?

Doing ‘take home’ playlists for clients was a big part of my old job. QR codes on menus and shit.

So I’m out. So much is missing from Spotify anyway.

It did feel like they’d asked someone to put something together for them rather than what you’d imagine one person being into. Still had some nice stuff on. I meant the tunes in question rather than the concept of giveaway playlists.

It actually looks like one I’d do, but I don’t recognise the client name. All the fast-casual places wanted Lord Echo mixed in with classic soul or downtempo disco for a while there. Electro-swing was ‘big’ too, when all these restauranteurs thought they’d discovered the perfect music to mix ‘class’ and ‘fun’. Nope. Doesn’t work like that lads.

I have a few playlists just for Analord tracks…Took me a long while to really feel like I’d listened to it all as there is so much there.

Also, recorded?
Gimme a shout if you want MP3s. I’ve got the released records as MP£ and all the extras which went up on the old Rephlex site, if you need them.

Yeah that would be sick. Thanks! I’m getting a new computer tomorrow with any luck, time to start filling it up

I wasn’t aware of any extras…

Yeah, the release was only on vinyl and then a couple of years later, a load of extra MP3s appeared on the Rephlex site on the digital version. Anther 20 odd tracks…

It means there is 4-5 hours in total. Took me a long time to digest…Some bangers in those extras, though.

I still strongly believe that the Tuss material is the best of his Afx style, or maybe even his music altogether.

I just go through phases of listening to different eras/styles.
There are definitely times where the Tuss stuff is on constant rotation.

I wish I owned that vinyl, though…Got the EP but not the album. So expensive now.

Some weird 'uns that may or may not be afx

They’re all fakes, those…

Anyone partake in “gully beats” on the old forum? Make a tune based on a soundtrack LP…

Another one?
