Game play? Minimising viewer disappointment when the episode 300 guest ends up not being someone of the stature or level of interest of say Jim T, Rick and Meg, Rodney or Rocco and is instead a double episode with Joey Brezinski and Paul Hart. Just a guess.

I think they mentioned that they met up over a meal and had an off the record chat with a ton of good stories. Then they got the, ‘nah, I’m not coming on’, from him.
If they were to get a quality guest it could be Natas, I suppose. Poor dude’s probably fed up with walking past the Nine Club guys at the Venice curbs every time he wants to have a stroll on the beach and could think that going on might put an end to the relentless Partridge x Dan style scenario.
Probably not though.

These people don’t need to promote anything or need their stories out there so there is no need to subject themselves to Chris’ tiresome rigmarole. If I was an industry bigwig i’d certainly not want to be in that chair with those dead cells firing nonsense at me.
