Yeah, guy at work is proper proud reform voter and will always call out everything being ‘woke’. Cannot talk to him about anything other than work stuff and I have to block out anything he says.

The liberal left aren’t perfect either by the way. Many people can take things too far but at least their heart is in the right place. No harm is done by being open minded and (Bill from Bill & Ted) excellent to each other

My girlfriend (non-native english speaker) just used the word “moribund” in a sentence. She refuses to watch Partridge, but knows the word from hearing me and my mates talking about it.
Like a real Michael Fabricant, I tried to mansplain to her why she was using it wrong. On international women’s day. She googled it, I was wrong. My god I’m awful sometimes.

That is weird, yesterday it popped into my head and I was using it at every opportunity and confusing the kids and then when the GF turned up that was the first word I said. She’s a big partridge fan but didn’t get the link straight away.

Had to go get a some vaccines today as a post transplant thing. That should have been done sooner but they forgot!? The nurse says “What do you want first, the one that hurts or the ones that really hurt?’
Oof and I’m more than used to needles. Could only give me three of them today, got to go back for another three or four. Hoping there are no side effects.

I think we’ve run out of heating oil… or it’s low enough to stop feeding.
Recently paid for a delivery but don’t know when it’s coming so I’m currently trying to get through to the oil peeps.
Update: Monday.
