Nyjah's 'Shine On' part

The question is, is Phelps corpse cold enough for him to get the “award”?

Also - filming and editing is dogshit.
Ty Evans - what an immense non-surprise,

Go watch the Alltimers video

It’s objectively not good enough.
Tyshawn’s part pisses on this

This is 1 of 2 though… the kids love him and the kids buy Thrasher…

I haven’t even watched yet, just browsed over some comments and get the feeling it will be a loud vocal cry for it to happen this year.

Actually given Chris cole and Danny way both got it twice, maybe Phelps would have already given him it.

This all day. If it was just down to these two parts then Tyshawn by a country mile. Shit I’d take that Evan Smith part over Nyjah

Struggled with this. Had to turn sound down. Undeniably crazy stuff but not my cup of coffee. At all.

We’re completely not the target audience for this, he’s incredible but it left me cold.

There’s something about the way his board moves that weirds me out. Does he have really tight trucks but soft bushings? Loose trucks but really hard bushings? Looks like it’s got the turning circle of an HGV. He has stopped kickturning everywhere like he used to though.

The more this keeps getting said about everything these days, the less it’s starting to make sense. It’s skateboarding, is it not aimed at skateboarders? He definitely wants his board brand to be aimed at everyone, make lots of money and not be some niche nothing brand.

I think that Evan Smith vid was just a compilation of insta clips and throwaway footage from the year.

It’s a film or something not a skateboarding video part.

It’s strange how he risks his life for these but it comes out this … dull? Strangely underwhelmed.

It’s the set menu from him though isn’t it of rails rails and more rails. It’s all been done before…by him.

We are the niche. The amount of skateboarders who stay “in the scene” for as long as we do is vanishingly few. Most people get into it as kids or young teens, do it for 3 or 4 years at absolute most, and then decide that fingering and beer are better ways to spend your time. You aim at those people if you want to make the most money, not us or Slap.

Nigel entering his ‘indie era’. Flannel shirts and acoustic guitars will be next.

That was gnarly though! But the filming was terrible and the music made it seem like a sad retrospective because he’d retired or something.

How many of us on here skate regularly?

2 maybe 3.

We are to skateboarding what Allan who weighs 18 stone and plays 5aside every 6 weeks is to football.

Nigel isnt in marketing meetings hoping his brand reaches a load of guys with hairy backs who remember the Berlin Wall coming down.

It would be so sick if Nige threw in a couple of NBD slappy tricks whilst wearing Big Boys and skating a shaped deck.

I think more people skate regularly than you guys are giving us credit for. I try to skate 2-3 times a week. I’m in my mid-30s. @jimo and @dontcomply also skate all the time, judging by their social medias.

Apologies.

No worries. I just wanted to underline that some of us do skate a fair bit.
