Definitely a left field choice! Slightly less hyped to get a Gabbers board now, but while not personally a fan of Thames, I don’t actually mind Blodney these days. If he’s building a proper pro team, it could be interesting

It’s the adidas link isn’t it? And not just that Blondey and Gabbers share a sponsor, but all the Thames-adidas collab stuff. Wouldn’t surprise me if Shier or someone behind the scenes at adidas encouraged it.
But Blondey is probably a more reliable boss than Jamie Thomas. At least you know he’s good for it!
Edit: also a good move for Gabbers as he doesn’t have to risk contracting CTE every time he goes skating now.

Yeah that’s completely fair. I just can’t get down with the Tory boy style of the brand. Gabbers just seems like a weird fit. Is he gonna rock a blazer and hit a triple kink? It’s an interesting move I’ll give him that. L for me, W for Gabbers bank account.
