Quite glad a load of the vanity board brands that seemed to start at similar times where it seemed like older pros thought they could make a decent skate company with no effort or creative output at all are getting binned. A saturated market getting filled with utter mid ideas every other week really did put a strain on other companies

Not sure if this is hard hitting news but after seeing his Free part I was looking at Diggs social media and noticed he hadn’t mentioned Flip for a while. Not to be found on their website either. Hoping he’s getting hooked up by something way radder than 2025 Flip now!

That seems wildly off-brand, like it’s gonna be some sort of Carrie style joke where they introduce him as a pro at an event but the board is a bitch skateboards inspired pisstake and the team all stand around him pointing and laughing grotesquely while the music screeches and the lighting and camera get increasingly unhinged ending in a shot of jaeb on the floor screaming.

I could see BDK getting insanely jealous as the team embraces the current tech darling, Jaeb, leading to a Challengers-esque romantic rivalry for Crockett’s affection.

No traitors spoilers please. Thinking of Crockett and his trousers made me think of Stephen’s jumpsuit 
I feel like Jaebs had a bit of rebrand hanging out with the more “tasteful” euro side of SB. I don’t mind it, he’s quite young and been in the spotlight a long time already, naturally your tastes are gonna change. It doesn’t feel as “cosplay” as Elijah Berle’s many phases.

I feel as though both brands suffer from a lack of a core identity if I’m honest. Obviously Quasi is higher on the cool guy register but not by much. With that said, my opinion is meaningless as I haven’t paid for a skateboard for decades.
