I’m surprised he was having to consider selling his house, has he not saved any money down the years?

I guess the party Hollywood years were expensive?

About time, and he must have been the last person to notice how shit Supra was. Has anybody anywhere ever paid full retail for Supra (or Krew)?

Maybe the new people will put him on Axion.

Maybe legacy back to eS? Id not be upset if he went back with Penny

I absolutely coveted the brown suede ones so I’m fully on board for that

Yeah they’re tagged in the post as well. If he needs the money as much as he’s implying then I’d be surprised if he didn’t reissue his es shoes.

His house doesn’t seem huge but even a small house in the Hollywood hills is surely gonna be close to $1m.

I think people just assume this is easy or something? Haven’t éS just come back after being cut by Sole Tech for not being that profitable, I’m guessing? They aren’t just going to reissue shoes left right and centre on a whim, giving a bulk of the money to Muska, or picking up ex riders past their prime for the sake of it. When things seem pretty tight over there. éS might not even want riders back that walked out on them, even if they did have a big pile of money.

I’m not sure if it was for not being that profitable, maybe they thought it wasn’t going in a good direction and pulled the plug before it got too bad. Whether it’s ‘easy’ or not I don’t know but I do know a lot of those Symbol shoes ended up in high street shops at heavily discounted prices, the Muska’s would sell more I reckon.

That said, they fully had Creager back for a fair while and didn’t bring his shoe back and loads of people ask for those.

Okay, so they went ‘Lets shut up shop on that company making us loads of money because the direction is off?’ Seems sound business sense.

No, they shit themselves because they had 3 brands and 2 sportswear brands came into skating and swiped 70% of the market in seconds, so they thought they cut the one that seemed like it had run it’s course. es lost pretty much all of it’s main top tier riders so it was the one that needed the most work. They realised that there was still a market for es though after so much demand for it to come back.

I can’t recall implying they were making loads of money but ok. Some businesses do quit while they’re ahead if they feel the competition is going to be far too strong in the near future. It’s not like they’d have to give him Muska some kind of crazy contract anyway, whether or not it’s worthwhile for them in terms of potential sales I don’t know but it’s hard to picture that they’re killing it as it is.

Yeah but it must of been the least profitable of the three, to dump it. If it was head and shoulders above emerica they wouldn’t of. I’m thinking Etnies must still be their main bread winner.

Haven’t worn any E’s shoes for about 20 years but bought some Accel Slims recently and was very surprised to find they’re the best skating cupsole shoe I have owned in about 20 years.

As for Muska and his wall, and no true friends at Supra, and being devalued, and his time being up, and all that stuff about never working for a corporation that will use him…flipping heck I wonder how he’d feel if he worked in the factory?

Oh shit, forget everything I said, I just read in the Cult of Tom comments Muska saying he was talking to Penny yesterday, maybe the éS reunion is on! Haha…

And it was Tom’s birthday

Okay… people read the other posts right, where I said the same thing? But people backed it up. Then I jokingly agree (haha) and people say it’s to far fetched
