This is true
Rowley is/was fucking amazing at the skateboards. You can’t expect him to skate at Sorry level of gnar 20 odd years later.
Always thought his trick selection was interesting too. Like at 2:29 in Sorry, he does a fakie tailslide on that handrail that him Ed, Heath and Arto were always skating. That’s such an awkward one. Or at 6:05 the frontside 270 to lip. Fuck that - the hang up potential.
Some surprisingly sick mini skating in this too:
Geoff Rowley is a real person? I thought he was a video game character?!
Top trolling.
He blocked me on Instagram for commenting ‘muderer’ when stood next to a dead animal he’d killed.
Good skater though.
Am I imagining it or did he have a Vans (?) double page ad with him next to a dead bear/ lion? Talking probably like 2003/4
RE: Toy Machine - he should have been on there years ago.
This Freedome Ed board only furthers the idea:
Interesting that he was omitted from this set of reissues.
Interesting but not surprising.
I have no details but there will be no more Rowley/Flip product ever
He had that one of him on the roof with a mountain lion? Might have been for Volcom
Wasn’t there footage in one of Flips later ‘Sorry’ series of him killing said mountain lion at the premier but the footage was pulled from the video release? Or was that the Volcom or Vans video?
Yeah that’s the one I think
Surprised me. What am I missing? Something obvious probably but
Unspoken but massive and irredeemable beef between Geoff and owners of Flip.
Gotcha
Did he kill Ian Deacons cat with a crossbow?
Decided to Google Geoff and Flip Skateboards and this is one of the first things that popped up and I think that’s both sad and hilarious
Is that real?
Seems real.
They couldn’t agree on the value of Rowley’s 40% stake in Flip so he tried to force them to dissolve the company by the looks of it.
Christ, what a fucking princess.
