I don’t disagree with you. But I can see why they would. I can imagine they’d find a great to spend ‘fuck you money’
Whether I like Palace or Lev’s approach or not, he seems to have integrity, not aligning with mine but he has his integrity. All that would be lost even if Nike offered a billion and he took it. Some things are worth more than money.

I think the sale would be bigger news than a Slap leak by now.
I can’t see Nike buying them to be honest. It potentially could go south so fast once the news breaks. Leaving Nike with a multimillion pound business that will keep losing money and never recover once it has the corporation association trying to be hip to the kids.
Nike are an athletics/sports footwear company, fashion is not their bag, I really do not see Palace aligning with some of their brand pillars
I mean most Palace ads feature them bunning and at very least smoking tabs

If you look at Nike’s recent products, they’re clearly trying very hard at the fashion side of things I’d say. Stuff like this springs to mind:
Recent colabs with Cortiez instantly spring to mind
I mean their primary focus is not as an overtly ‘fashion’ brand. Yes of course they are influenced by and in some cases direct fashion (eg sports/gymwear as a ‘thing’) but I don’t think Palace would sit in their portfolio happily with everything else.
The last few I can think of are Umbro (which they sold iirc) and Hurley (which fuck knows what happened to).

The Nike rumours have been going around forever, mainly around anything Staba does… Savier and Skate Mental are all secretly Nike remember… remake it to Palace to update the rumour for a 2024 audience.

Ive heard whisperings of a Skate Park and new offices in central London, Nike funded?
Would either of those things really require Nike to fund it? I reckon they could just about afford it themselves.

Well lets presume the Adi contract is up. Nike have been frothing to try and get their hands on Palace for years, i would think that being the case then Palace would for sure leverage anything they could get from them, that’s how those guys have always created opportunities for themselves.
My mate at the gym said he heard Palace are buying Nike
