My go-to recipe when I can’t be arsed to cook anything big.
- Melt maybe 1/3 block of butter in small saucepan
- Chop onion in half and add
- Add 1 tin of tomato and some salt and pepper.
- Fuck off for 45 mins
- Come back
- Remove onion and squash any big bits of tomato
- Boil some pasta
- Mix into tomato sauce.
- Grate some cheese into the pan, mix it around with some basil leaves.
- Serve, put more cheese on top. I use pecorino.
- Eat

Also, use plum tomatoes, not chopped. For some reason chopped tomatoes are too acidic. Plus with plum tomatoes you get to squish them with your hands and it feels nice.

You can add a little sugar to counter the acidity if you have to use chopped

There must be some sort of cyber attack coming out of Italy. Seems like the pasta thread gets all the bot traffic. They’re pasta purists and they’re not wrong.
