Ah ha!
Well I might as well tell the myth as its looking possible.
So the story goes Penny came to Newbury to meet Ed Templeton who was (for some reason) coming to skate it.
Tom never met up with Ed but got told about a warehouse the Muckmouth (Alex Dyer) guys had found and built stuff in.
Tom goes to the industrial park across the road to find it, walks past the open door and smashes a window to get in.
Apparently, the was 2 joints left on one of the ramps and in biro “Sorry I broke the window guys. Tom.”
He then proceeds to make friends with a guy who has a boat on the canal and ends up going down to Bath with him.
Now, the is a photo of Ed Templeton skating the mini.
The indoor warehouse spot was called Mojos and Alex put the footy online and said it was in 1996.
Im not sure I believe the canal boat part but the rest is plausible.
We met an older dude at a beer fest near Swindon/Marlbrough who said he was a photographer and knew Foz and a few other people and he knew of the story too.

The story hasn’t morphed too much since the late 90’s. I mean we always thought it was bollocks Ed Templeton came and skated the mini, then the photo got shared on FB and the penny myth was resurrected.
