So many Supra shoes just look so cheap and uncomfortable. Obviously that’s an issue with skate shoe companies in general but Supra seemed to be way more about aesthetic than wearability.
Gonna get smoked here but I kinda like skytops, I don’t own a pair though so I guess I can’t like them that much

The only ones I ever tried on were the second TK pro model. They were super cheap and looked pretty good, so thought I might pick them up; but they felt like they were set solid. Like the insole was made of concrete and the suede had frozen. Super weird.

I felt like those sat too low on my ankle, like it was screaming for an ankle roll. The Dixon’s were a rad shoe to skate in, didn’t last too long but had worse
The do not look like they should be brick-like too. I hgot a few pairs of the Reebok looking ones, the Ellington Workout or whatever it was and holy shit those were solid.
Got them in black/gum, unworn, UK10 if anybody really wants to punish their feet.
That was what I thought. I knew about the reputation and had always just been dismissive of them because of that. I saw those and thought; “nah, they can’t all be like that.”
I’ve heard good things about the Dixon since though as Forward said.

Same feel about feeling really rock solid and not especially comfy.
Did OK as a chiller or skate to shop shoe.

as part of my ongoing excavation of photos in the loft that i am putting on insta (vitalsound75) found a couple more Penny pics, obviously wasnt really paying much attention to the viewfinder with the first one to cut him in half and the second one more candid snap of him chilling and having some crisps in between showing everyone how its done.

Here is my shit pic of Penny.. 1993/94 at Radlands. First pro I ever seen. I didn’t think my mates would believe I had seen him when I got home and call bullshit on me so I snuck this one I was young and to scared to ask for one.
