I don’t know Morph so maybe this question is too personal, and it will probably get covered in the interview which hopefully happens, but how would you sum up prison life? What surprised you the most about it?

I reckon most people wonder about it, cos it’s on TV dramas and news so much. Maybe a bit like being in the Armed Forces.

Ok, rite da spice thing. for them that dont no in about 2015 da whole spice thing came big in jail cos it was like weed. tho it neva came up on a piss test so everyone loved it. at first. then it started getting sprayed on paper so people could rite a letter and send spice like that in da post to jail. around dat time people started makin it stronger. now its nothin like the green stuff people used to buy in da packets!

govs hate it cos it sens people ova. passin out bein sick in funny positions aint da one. weed they take the approach your talkin about with. let them smoke dat wil chill em out! dnt stop piss tests or nickins if they find it though. im ova it!

Part of my old job was to organise prison visits for A-Level law students, and the prison stopped hosting them in 2015 purely due to the spice situation. The PO I dealt with told me that in the preceding month there were 13 resuscitations!

Used to see so much hooch production when we did visit in previous years, blatantly fermenting on windowsills. Question for Morf: what’s his favourite hooch recipe and what is the process for making it?
