Pneuma was one of my top songs too, mostly because I spent so much time trying to figure out how to count along to it. I gave up and just decided to memorize the intro so I could tap along without counting.

The delay is so wet you can’t tell what’s delay or what’s real. There’s probably tabs for it now but that makes it boring.

Never really got anything from tool, they really should tick my boxes, odd signatures, tempos and changes but in an accessible format but nah, they just sound drab. I can see why people do like them though.
I wouldn’t like to guess my top listened to. I think, Plaid, Autechre, Boards of canada, Steely Dan would be up there though for the normie side of things.
I think it helps when your first Tool experience is being on drugs and watching the video that explains Fibonacci sequence in Lateralus. And that fan video for The Pot, which is awesome. I’ll post them in the music thread. Go get some drugs.
Ha, honestly, some of my favourite stuff on psych’s is Autechre, when a churning groove meanders and transforms is starts to come out of the speakers and sounds like you can pick it out of the air and feel it.
I’ve managed not to buy any new clothes during this year so I think I deserve some fresh garms for 2021 to go with my electric longboard.
