I bought a Roland BTM1 a few months ago and it’s pretty good especially as it has an instrument input so it can be a mini guitar amp for the lounge or on travels. It had a spate of turning itself off for a few days but since been fine. Sounds pretty good.
Mini rigs are solid, and punchy
I got the Ultimate Ears Megaboom. Seems decent so far
We sell good ones at work. DM me for discount.
Juice Bass, which is smaller but really punchy with good Bass ….
I have the JBL xtreme and the boom box . The quality is insane, bass is really good on these , they are easy better sound quality than other similar speakers . I regularly have people ask what make they are as they’re that impressed.
Only problem is the batteries. The xtreme will need a new battery after a year and half, but they’re £25 and easy enough to fit .
i’ve had a minirig for 6 years still works perfectly after lots of abuse, battery life is belting as well
tip top customer service if anything ever stops working also
Thanks everyone!
Insta has started snap(?) scrolling rather than the normal scrolling.
Don’t like it.
Got up and out with the dog this morning as per usual. Headed on home, made a cup of Earl grey, stuck the radio on for the shipping bulletin at 5:20, only to realise I was listening to the World Service not Radio 4…the clocks have gone back haven’t they. I might be an everyday early riser but getting down on the beach for half past three on a Sunday morning is pushing it even for me. Doh!
Same here, the boy was up early according to my phone 5.15am but of course body clock was 6.15 so not too bad
The extra hour is like a little free gift for the soul, and we don’t get much for free these days.
I always feel like it’s a bit wasted on a Sunday though. The realisation of an extra hour when waking up on a miserable Monday would be heaven.
On balance I’d much rather not lose the daylight at the end of the day.
I lived on a diet of bread, marmite and bovril back then. All the major food groups covered. I think a young me got worried a third of my menu was about to be taken away.
I imagine growing up around Burton you were basically slathered in marmite at all times
Man be careful opening that , could be the next pandemic in that jar , or even worse ……

Bovril + Oxo cube is a late night winter drink for me. Marmite on my toast!
whats up with stories atm? impossible to film and it go in the right orientation
Fuck me. Sounds like the saltiest possible combination of foods you could possible eat especially before bed.
