Ive had a skate on that, its too far gone really, but there was a nice gap to skate years ago.
Whats in the box?
Loop it, sample it…
Now that is some crust!
My mum is visiting from the uk for the first time in 6 years.
Just cooked a meal on her first night here. Didn’t have any wine in the house, other than a leaving gift from an old job, a 1996 Shiraz. I knew it was relatively expensive, but the idea of expensive wine is such a weird thing to me I never bothered investigating too much, it’s for drinking after all. So anyway figured it was a relatively special occasion and it seemed worthwhile to open it.
Post meal, and post finishing the bottle with my mum turning her nose up at it somewhat, I did some googling.
£160 a bottle and quite collectible. Oops.
How was it?
at least it got used for a special occasion!
Incredibly nice.
But wine is a weird thing to enjoy that expensively in retrospect. You could understand a nice whisky that has more time to be enjoyed and might be enjoyed over the course of days, weeks or longer. Wine like that in one sitting is decadent, but a little unsatisfying all in all I guess.
Did you need to show proof of 2 vax +booster to get into France? The passport thing which is being scrapped is for once you’re in france. I’m off in a few weeks. Cheers
Cool video. Yeah I live in a village about 6 kilometers from Montreux. It takes 40ish minutes to walk from my garden to the casino.
Do you go to the jazz festival?
Or you could take the highway, star
hahaha this is the first thing I thought of as well
just imagining the money counter ticking up with every drop of wine nav drips into the glass
Probably needed drinking eh? Seriously wine doesn’t improve forever, you did the right thing!
Innit. Hardly a '53 Margeaux.
I’ll say this for navitronic, he keeps a sensational cellar
I boycott the festival itself as tickets are overpriced and the line-up usually isn’t really my thing anyway, plus it’s run by a bunch of bourgeois dickheads.
I volunteer for the local skatepark and we run a bar in the festival though, raising money for our association.
