thank you man!

Seen 4 wombats today. 3 dead by the side of the road, then another one that was alive. Then we hit it.

He was ok though.

I wonder if he’ll go onto a solo career now.

There should be an ombudsman for work training modules.
-is the course content actually engaging
-how many employees actually follow the course instead of furiously clicking on the next slide to complete
-does the annoying rights free music hinder the employee from trying to focus on the words on the screen.

Isnt Flight of the Valkyries a royalty free song? They should just use that for every corporate training video.

I hate them so much, it’s all bullshit. Nobody cares, employee or employer, they are always just a tick box so they can say training was done.

Seems I care a bit too much…

Sadly, I find HS genuinely interesting. Probably a downside to going tee total (some people get into god, replacement addictions etc).

Just found out everyone’s favourite video presenter is called Chris miller.

That’s a sick idea. Today was easy.

Took me 3 guesses

Though to be fair, I guessed an associated companies video on my 2nd go

Things have been pretty hectic since we got back from our holidays, a friend’s mum passed away and so did an old friend of my girlfriend. Two funerals, weird start to the week. It is what it is. Trying to support our friends (and each other) as much as we can.

On the plus side, we adopted three young hens on Thursday and they’re so cute. One laid the first morning she was here and another one laid her first egg this morning, as I was tinkering with various things in the garden. They kinda get along with the older ones we have too.

Stoked on that and on going skating today and probably tomorrow.

Life goes on. Literally.

Been told I’m going somewhere “posh” for my birthday soon. My wardrobe for the last two years has been cargo shorts and fat t shirts pretty much. I’m getting shown pics like this to give me a sense of expectation

What do the chaps here wear when the rest of the world is demanding pastel, loafers, no socks, high waters, and so on.
@hugo you don’t need to reply.
Thanks

Just put some chinos and a smart shirt on.

Red trousers are criminal unless you’re an antiques dealer.

And ditch the loafers for some desert boots.

True for pretty much every eventuality

Yeah what Hugo said. A pair of chinos and an Oxford, with some nice shoes/boots should cover most formal settings (unless a full suit is required).

No tie unless you’re wearing a jacket, but if you’re wearing a jacket you don’t have to wear a tie.

And yeah, Clarks are timeless and 100% would also wear

I’ll see myself out.
