Are you talking about those Euro-pallets? You can find those everywhere as @nazoreth said. That would work for sure but they are really short.
We have a manny pad that was made with 6 of those at the local skatepark. It was made by kids from the village who had no idea what they were doing but it lasted 4 or 5 Swiss winters so yeah they’re really solid.
I’m thinking about building my own but I checked wood prices the other day and couldn’t find anything I was really happy with. Making something good to skate that fits my car boot isn’t as easy as it should be. I’m probably overthinking it.
It’s not like I can manual more than about a metre anyway so a single pallet that’ll go in the boot is fine and people give them away on Facebook. Thanks, will have a go
Was on the last day of a shoot in Switzerland and spent the morning in beautiful Zurich before a delayed flight home with a shit load of camera kit, carnet forms (thanks Brexit) and then a long old drive home from Heathrow.
Lovely to see my family again… however today I broke my middle toe on my right foot dodging my eldest son and his train set. Cracked the shit out of it on the kitchen doorframe. 3-12 weeks of limping like Yoda sans cane.

Get home, went to pass Mrs some kitchen towel and slipped on the wet tiles in utility (she was cleaning then). Full Banana skin cartoon style, feet at head height shit. Surprised shoes didn’t fly off.
Worst slam in 20 years. Thankfully elbow and arse took the blow and I didn’t hit my head, just a bit of blood. Fucking hurts though.
