Of course he does
Trouble is, she’s not wrong if you only look at some case studies. There are as many reasons for transitioning as there are people thinking about it so you’re going to find truth in any opinion.
For the most part and for people that genuinly are and feel more one sex than the other, this is a horrible way to see their situation summed up.
I wish people could just appreciate that every human is an individual and all have our reasons, foibles and parameters built by genetics, learning and experience.
Richie Jackson has always been a bit of wrong un and the fact the death still sponsor him completely turns me off them currently and thinking fondly of them even in the past tense tbh.
Is Richie on the right wing grift?
Have you ever met him?
Agree, that’s definitely crossed my mind too.
Having said that, until now he’s been great for the company. His Death part is one of the most watched skate videos on Youtube and his decks still sell.
Yeah, he’s very strategic in everything he does, from tricks to appearance to self promotion to whatever he’s into now I guess.
Never got a whiff of anything dodgy from him besides maybe the obvious ego stuff and maybe doing whatever it takes to ‘make it’ or make money or whatever.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he looked at his platform and his following and thought ‘now skating isn’t making money how can I pivot to making money from my following’
Replace money with attention maybe.
A lot of washed up actors/singers/celebrities have pivoted to almost trying to be cancelled because it seems they love the attention and if you’re smart about it can be incredibly profitable.
Not sure how many truly believe what they’re spouting.
I’m not a psychologist but it’s very interesting.
He was in Glasgow a couple of years ago for some reason and apparently spent the entire time looking for gear, sniffing gear, and trying to pull girls.
Another trait of the right wing pivoter
I mentioned this a while back but it’s really eye opening seeing who a lot of the American skaters follow/back.
Like PJ follows loads of alt righters.
Sinner and that OZ dude who was on Cliche are massive Trump and alt righters as well.
There’s loads of others which is depressing.
Just look at your fav pros follows and it’ll make you sad haha.
I recently decided to only follow companies not individual skaters on insta (exceptions have been Reynolds, Duffel, Shier and Farmer-era Muska). I don’t really need to know the ins and outs of peoples lives, I’d rather just see their footage and live in blissful, happy ignorance!
I didn’t do this on instagram other than dickhead skaters but I follow the nutters on twitter to see what they’re spouting.
It’s like a car crash, you don’t want to look but still do.
I tent to avoid the serious ones but definitely follow some of the dumb fucks like Lawrence Fox and Matt LeTissier (until he blocked me)
That’s not to say it’s why PJ follows those sorts, he might well be a tool, no idea.
My partner is always in the room when I forget where the first aid box is (top shelf of the glasses and mugs cabinet) but is NEVER in the room when I manually reset the broken dishwasher first try, no Google.
Why?
Did he like the post? (I don’t have IG)
Oh dear…
Was thinking about this the other day, i think current Muska is one of my favourite skateboarding success stories. The man has been through the ringer and seems so happy and stable. Really wholesome. Bigup
