Anyone here know Mandarin? I have some recordings I need translating to English.
How accurate do you need it to be? And what’s your budget?
It’s 3 phone calls between the same 2 people.
No budget but I can sort out some beers or whatever.
It doesn’t have to be word for word exact, but it needs to be translated accurately.
Is there some ai software you can run it through on a free trial?
I did that and the results are completely incoherent.
I’ve never owned any Supreme gear but yeah, obviously. The quality looks well Primark.

Yes, that logo on the front is all kinds of wrong. It’s the right typeface but the wrong weight - S, U don’t look italicised and not sure what is going on with the P and the M. Odd cos the label logo looks correct.

Thanks all. I should probably have my internet shopping access removed. It cost pennies (which was the first red flag) but I was half hoping the other person just didn’t clock what they were selling.
I think he means the box logo on the label, which isn’t quite as outrageously ridiculous as the one on the front, which yeah, is a very long way off. Then the drawstrings, and cut of the neckline, the weight and weave of the cotton etc. etc.
Always thought it was weird that bootleggers would attempt to recreate the logo from scratch, rather than just printing fakes with a downloaded real-version. It’s not the 1980s ffs.

If you’re hiring a professional translator to transcribe and then translate 3 phone calls it’ll be charged at an hourly rate, somewhere roughly between £25 and £40/hour. The alternative is to charge per minute of audio but it’s harder for the translator to come up with a figure that way.
I don’t know if AI is capable of that, certainly less capable than translating from a document. I think you’d have to find a human translator. Perhaps a translation agency might be your best bet but that won’t be cheap as they will take their cut too of course. There’s a website called www.proz.com where you can find independent translators yourself although that’s time consuming.
