Is there a good town to park in to catch the train in to central London ? Coming from up north on the m1 south.
Gonna be a bit of long walk to park in towns close to london due to being a major commuter stations. Loads of resident only parking all over towns especially near stations .
You may be able to find some residents parking that is free on Saturday and Sundays in towns like Hemel , kings Langley , apsley . But as soon as you get to watford , bushey or harrow it’s Sunday only . Sometimes not at all.
I live in Watford 3 mins from the main line into Euston . Closest non resident parking is a 15/20 min walk if there’s space . Then the fast train to Euston takes 20 mins
Nice one, Hemel would probably work to be fair. I would get the train all the way from up north but at 3x the cost of fuel, its not feasible regularly.
Or St Albans?

Yeah the St Albans station car park has a cheap weekend rate of £3 all day iirc. But get there early as it can fill up quick with weekend shoppers .
2nd floor is also great to skate , smooth as fuck floors

Never been to Copenhagen or its Opening. Is it just full of drunk Americans being obnoxious bell ends for a week, or is there a possibility I could have a good time?

I hear ya. I mean, I fricking love skateboarding and skate 2-3 times a week. But… I’m 46, only vaguely tolerant, don’t drink or smoke weed and I like slippers. And I don’t even skate all that proficiently.

Yeah, go to Copenhagen, avoid the greebos and make it a food trip. I have lots of restaurant recommendations.

It’s amazing. There’s skateboarding and weed and drinking going on absolutely everywhere and the locals seem fine with it. Or if they hate it they’re very politely hiding it.
