Concerned now that anywhere I’d want to metal detect has probably been rinsed. There can’t be many places on Earth that haven’t been done.
All the known good sites are protected for sure.
At the end of a summer day the beach is packed with them, always has been.
Doubt their going for the historic aspect, more the drunk lass lost her wedding ring aspect.

I have thought about it too, wandering around listening to music, waiting for a beep. Really relaxing excitement. And yeah, going places you shouldn’t to get the adrenalin going a bit more. Adrenalin is a bit strong a word though.
This place just hit peak nerd. Metal detecting. I mean I’m backing it, proper anarok though.

Fuck that. It’s a cleaning job first of all and secondly, no job deserves to be shouted and yelled at. Your sense of dignity and self-respect will suffer from tolerating that level of bullshit for cleaning toilets.
Ah, yes, Sellafield, that crowd who’d routinely pump nuclear waste into the sea, but shout at staff over a coffee cup without a lid. Sellafield. Bloody hell.

Yeah there’s that. There’s a name for metal detectors who go out at night on protected sites but I can’t remember it.

To not look dodgy I was going to suggest putting a fake dog on the round bit the bottom and so googled fake dog and that’s when I learned about dog sex dolls for your dog in heat.

Can’t help personally, but I recently found Joe Wilkinson & David Earl’s channel on YouTube and David has just started metal detecting… and also his own metal detecting channel.

Someone from outside my team spoke to be a little bit rude this morning - I was asking them to check their work basically.
My manager sent me a teams saying I wouldn’t stand for that kind of talk in our team.
