The Storm taped multiple times in a row on a 6 hour long play VHS so I didn’t have to keep rewinding it.
SKF Bearings vid
Nah, hokus for real
Apologies for the first ‘funny’ answer - when I first try to think of one my brain sort of just clouds over.
I like it here inside my mind… ticks plenty of boxes for me.
You must be insane.
I’ll go grab my coat.
Tough call but the Cambrian Explosion aspect of Hokus Pocus and the soundtrack win it for me.
impossible question. 720, now,n later, propaganda, Modus operandi, welcome to hell, Yeah Right etc etc.
I think i’d have to narrow it down to soundtrack maybe to get there.
U.K. - Lost & Found
U.S - Yeah Right
This
Or maybe something Cliche with a great Puig part like Freedom Fries
Hokus Pokus was the first proper skate vid for me, so I don’t really get the transitional period of the moment, its more the ‘holy crap you can do that?!’ aspect to me. I really like Spirit of the Blitz too, first skate vid I bought.
20 Shot was after my first little break, I didnt skate from maybe mid 93 until late 94. It hit all of the buttons for 16/17 year old me at that point in time.
Pre internet It was kind of like that anyway
From Spaced
Daisy “what you watching?”
Tim “skate video”
Daisy “oh, got a new one?”
Tim "no… same one
My first thought was hocus pocus or video days
Speaking of which
I’m actually not going to get it. I rather just watch the video again
Da Deal is Dead.
Defo not the best video but it sums up a particular era, and i fucking love it!
I’ve given it some thought and there are potentially loads of contenders but my brain keeps throwing out FTC Penal Code at regular intervals. It might not really be my forever video but it’s the best I can do right now.
It’s a good one but too much Procul Harum and it really needed a Lavar section.
Calm down. Then intro is iconic, agree on lavar
Intro is sick but I hate the song on Scott Johnston’s section.
FTC Penal Code would be a good one as well. Soundtrack from the gods.
This is one of those ones that’s sick to come back to because there’s so much mad innovation to look at, but the only video you ever watch? Really? That’s pretty wild respect.
I was thinking of lots of older videos but I would generally just watch one or two sections. Like ‘Wheels of Fire’ is absolutely my most influential video by miles but I only watched the Natas section and a bit of Jeff Kendall.
