I wish we got to see JB gillet on chocolate back in the day. Wasn’t that on the cards at some point? Did I imagine it?

For some reason I thought he was going to end up on Girl at one point - but maybe I’m imagining that.

Chocolate would have been great.

Alltimers gone out of business. A few people will be looking for a new board sponsor. Zered, Alexis, Will Marshall etc….

Zered is still sooooo good.

Will miss alltimers. Got that good light-hearted Dime/Bronze/Quartersnacks/Theories vibe

Couple of threads you’ll never find me in: Football (except for World Cup euros) and Cars.
Just clicked on the latter and felt like I was in another world. Driving in Malta made me ditch the car for good. Bikes, public transport and car sharing are absolutely fine when you live in the city.

I don’t think Iv ever watched an all timers clip.

Zered is the boss.

Any London based Darkplace fans on here, I’ve got a pair of tickets to see the series at the Prince Charles cinema tonight going

Has anyone had to get a car seat through an airport before? How is it done?

I have a pretty light booster style one. Do I pack it up and check it in before security and put it in the hold? I’ve seen some people actually attatching it to the plane seat. How does that work? The one i have doesnt have isofix attachtments so I guess that might work…

Going on a short haul with EasyJet.

Hand luggage I’d reckon. Otherwise some airports let you drop push chairs off via an excess baggage drop off and pick it up on the other side. Don’t be surprised if easyjet charge you for it either way…

How old is your child? For under 2’s that don’t get their own seat they usually get an additional price of carryon for pram/car seat/travelcot, but obviously varies from airline to airline. We’re going with TUI next week and get the pram as extra. Flew with them at Easter and they were painless about it.

Last time we flew with easy jet they let us take a couple of additional hold items for our under 2s free if it’s an essential.

Looks like you can do that with a booster seat for under 5s but I always email to confirm beforehand just in case someone at the counter tries to be a dick.

Yeah he’s 5 so not sure how it applies to him.

I’ll ring them tomorrow and see if I can get some clarity.

Why I can’t just hire one with the car on the other side I don’t know.

Was wondering if anyone had actually attached a car seat to plane seat before. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone do it but googling it it seems you can.

We took big baby car seat for free iirc (Estonia → London → los Angeles). Wrapped it in big plastic bag (clear, so security could see what it was), took a spare bag and roll of tape for the return trip. Had to put it through fragile items section so I think you need to go to the check-in desk to get a label for it.

Which car hire company did you use? We’re going to France and car seats were a standard optional extra at all the companies?
