Good day of climbing. Went on a hike then ended with some night bouldering. Going back tomorrow hoping to climb my first font 7a. Tried a 7c+ plus slab, felt possibly doable as a long-term project. Walk on By. Only tried it as the dude I ended up climbing with was trying it. Amazing problem up a blank wall. Might try it again tomorrow, to make more progress on it would be great. Fully addicted now.
Want a new cleaning job ASAP so I can get out here more often. Not gonna be able to extend my stay unfortunately due to funds but I’ll be able to go back again end of January/early February so will give you plenty of notice Deacon.

Gorilla Warfare. I’m getting on Trackside tomorrow though, think it might suit me better. Will try strawberries too and the lower grade climbs around that look fun. Yeah Curbar is great, first time I’ve been. I was recommended to try Art of Japan.

Close to Gorilla warfare but didn’t get it sadly. Can do all the moves. Trackside felt very hard for me. Got Strawberries, great problem. Looking forward to going back. My hands are cut up lol. Two cuts that are bleeding lol. Walked 15 miles today ha, very tired. Got back half an hour ago.
All these problems are gonna take some more working for me. But psyched.

Mine is tonight. Need a solid plan to not get shitfaced this year…not for flirting reasons but I’m not good at not shooting my mouth off at the best of times. I need to be on top of my game.
Might set alarms on my phone to remind me not to be a tit and to go to bed at 10pm max.

Didn’t have a Christmas do provided by our company this year, and they’ve also stopped the Christmas hampers we used to get through the post. Our depot made an average of £153k profit per week this year, and we’re just one of 100+ depots in our wider network.
On the other hand last week our CEO had a leaving party after nearly 30 years working with the business, starting at the bottom straight out of school and worked his way up. There can’t have been more than 30 people there, and some of them were asking me which one of them he was. Speaks volumes I guess.
