Kneecap are no Dead Kennedys but they’re better than nothing. Wish they’d just tell people to fuck off though instead of issuing apologies on social media.

Exactly this. It’s fun to dress up as and support a terrorist organisation that kills civilian women and children, and bombed UK cities when we were all skateboarding, but getting involved in international politics might not have been too smart.

That’s it, they should have said nothing. They’re about as edgy as any other nu-metal band so trying to argue back with an apology that contradicts everything they claim to stand for looks kinda stupid.

Although I think the denial has more to do with the likelihood of being dropped from every summer festival they’re booked at.
I had a crazy thought this morning which might be the ramblings on an unemployed man with too much time on his hands, but hear me out - is there any appetite for a forum video this year?
I can’t remember the last one we did, we definitely haven’t done one this side of 2020. The weather’s getting nicer, people seem to be skating a bit. I’d be up for editing (if only to get some practise in).
Is there enough of us up for getting involved, or would it just be a @franc and @Mike shared part?

Highly unlikely I’ll be skating any real street anytime soon. But if the general feeling is yes why not? I’m starting on the 48/48 at the end of next week so will have the camera on a lot more than I currently do. It’ll likely all be Unit 1 (Stoke indoor), Stoke Plaza and the Rollersnakes car park of wonder unless I get to travel a bit further afield.
Guarantee I’ll take one look at myself and be like ‘Nope, thats shit’ though.

Skatepark footage and selfie dad cam is not only expected, it’s encouraged (provided it’s in landscape).
