Morrisons were doing something similar with Disney character cards at Christmas. They were ending the promotion and the woman on till handed my mum about a 1000 of them to get rid of them. Some of them are selling for silly prices. They lost the value the second she handed them to my daughters though.

What’s the acceptable age someone to start drinking tea? I’m pretty sure I’ve had a mug of tea in my hand every day since I was 4. My eldest is 9 and never touched it. Probably for the best.
Hard to imagine someone being peer pressured into a brew…
My 7 year old likes tea. I make sure to only give her light brews though. I remember drinking mugs of tea when I was 6.
Mines tried it for the first time at the weekend, she didn’t like it, she’s 12. I was a late adopter too if I remember.

I always treated it as one of those things that was left up to their own natural curiosity. Until they ask to try it, just carry on as normal.

Had something weird happen last night. We had dinner, just me and the GF and decided to make a really small random cocktail to use some dregs up and get rid of bottles. A really tiny drink, brandy based. I sipped it over 5 mins or so and all of a sudden my brain twanged and the room literally tilted about 45 degrees for a second then went back. it was like some weird film effect trying to portray some psychedelic use. After that I was giddy any time I moved. Still seeing perfectly clear but feeling like I could fall at any time. I didn’t put it down to the drink at first because it was such tiny drink and I don’t get drunk anymore, I never have enough drink for that. It’s insane how little there was but I can’t think what else it could be. I’m fine this morning.

Not wanting to worry you, but that sounds a bit like a TIA. My mum had a couple of these and reported similar symptoms, not all of the common ones associated with a stroke, like she could still move, but felt like the floor dropped away. It didn’t last much more than 30 seconds each time. Might be worth getting a check up?
