Yeah bit of a death trap considering it’s designed for kids I assume. Biggest bit is 4-5 foot and steep enough that your trucks can catch on a 50-50.

Maybe, but you would assume that there are some councils that are going to argue they’ve ticked investment in youth “sport” box and not feel the need to provide anything further.
True, but those same councils wouldn’t necessarily have spent more/planned more for something skateable. They’re looking for an affordable way to try and please everyone (or so they think). If we didn’t get the pump track, we’d have got another waste of space that was much worse.
Or nothing at all.
Anyway you can always go and diy a curb or block onto a bit of it and hey presto you’ve got the Stockwell steps
Also, I would wager that more UK teenagers ride bikes currently than skateboard. Not sure when this pump track was built though.
I’ve seen a lot of pressure to build them from older guys getting into skating for the first time or coming back after a long gap. They seem to love pumping around them all and not worrying about tricks.
Lots going on last night, everywhere but I have never seen a 20 min nonstop storm like that. literally a 20 min rumble and flashes every 2 seconds. Crazy world.
They closed all the parks here, cancelled events and sent severe storm warnings. It pitter pattered on and off for 20 minutes. There was literally ten seconds of sudden heavy rain and that was it.
Off to a festival until Monday. Weather looking a bit, mixed

How does everyone skate their trucks?
I’ve been having truck madness for the last few years. Just can’t feel comfortable and I don’t remember it ever being an issue when I was younger. Do you guys skate both trucks equal tightness/looseness? Or have front truck looser?
Front truck about 10-20% looser at a guess.
both trucks as loose as possible and ride a twintail, rendering madness useless
Although I did remember ishod saying re twintail ‘if I start trying something then I stick to that way around for the rest of the tries’ and I can’t unhear it

Heard an interview with Greg James where he was going on for ages basically about skateboarders being dicks, ‘grown ups playing with their toys’ and ‘doing that thing where they kick the board and catch it before walking along thinking they’re dead cool’. Always thought he was a prick but I now have an unconditional hate for him which will last for the rest of my life

Looking to just get some blank T’s and I almost remember struggling to find some that aren’t A. ghetto gowns if I get anything upwards from a medium. B. Turn into tight, wack, thin pieces of fabric or C. Both A and B combined.
