Not watched it yet but Stenström, Emile and, new guy, Dylan Mills all have parts. Bizarre title.
To be fair I can relate to the title
Crikey! Emile has some unhinged footage in this.
On paper Emile should be right up my street, but I can’t stand looking at the little gremlin
if the mosher intro sets the scene for the video then… nah.
Seemed very unPolar.
I was extremely entertained by the Emile footage. Yes, quite stinking but it’s part of his appeal I guess. Can’t fault some of the moves. Switch fs board transfer on the barrier for example.
Oh and the double boneless 360 line with terrible pushes!
I generally find skate videos more stressful than stoking these days. Mosher drops where they just splatter into the ground which are literally not worth it as the make looks stinkin anyway.
5 mins in.
this is great. seems like a lean towards older polar aesthetics and memory screen influence.
enjoyment obtained.
david stenstrom part is sick as hell.
and dylan mills has to be stoked to have neil blender singing on his first big video part.
I thought the opposite. This reminded me of the earlier days of Polar before it became a ‘trendy’ brand populated by effete Parisians in black converse.
For me, this is the direction polar should be going in to avoid H-Street syndrome. Unconventional styles, different spots and lesser known skaters.
Agree. If they did this switch up a little sooner they wouldn’t have lost Ville Wester to Palace.
Blessing in disguise if you ask me.
Don’t know much about him but I think his skating is great.
I too think his skating is great but there’s something about him that makes me not that interested in his footage
This is based literally on the (many pointless attempted drop in to poor rideout in the end) intro. Didn’t set it up well for me. I didn’t really have the time then to watch it so I didn’t. At a loose end I might just watch it and skip the start.
Emile was whylin out ha.
kinda stoked on him being a bit of a graff outlaw too.
That article is funnier than it should be.
Your comment piqued my curiosity. Glad I read it now.
Have you seen his graf tho? Looks like he needs the practice
