If I were you spend the extra and get 9mm birch ply and treat that. Worth the extra cost and not having to repair shite bonded ply when the elements get to it.

Rad, don’t see many of them about.

Hi Ryan - the smart money would be on doing what Chopper suggests and getting the best surface wood you can with the money you got available. I’m enjoying coming up with ways to keep it from degrading to quickly but I’m not going to beat Mother Nature. If I stick with it as it is I’d probably go for birch or marine ā€˜but’ the whole point of my ramp was to do it cheap in case it didn’t work out… or rather my knees, hips, elbows etc didn’t like it. Now I know it’s something I want to keep doing, and every other sport / gym membership costs a shedload more cash in the long run, the idea of spending money on it is just as justifiable in my opinion.

I’m only erring on what surface to do next as I’m currently considering my next project - something in concrete - but that if this doesn’t come to any fruition I’d definitely go for a better quality running surface for want I have.

This is my idea for something in concrete…

That is some damn nice old boards you got. The boards I have are all going up in my office shortly. If I’m not riding them I want to see them. Is that a Natas 2nd top left? Your wife sounds a lot like mine!! :+1:t2:

Loved the Natas SMA boards never had one tho that is a Vision board can’t remember which without going in the loft, got a few old classics there, my fav Is the G&S Neil Blender

Was my favourite board for a long time went to US found it in a bargain bin mid 90’s original, all these are circa 1984-mid 90’s some right classics and oldies

That would be amazing in concrete, one heck of a commitment but I like it

Refrained from asking but thought that too.

It’s a Gonz isn’t it?

And wasn’t there an inxs board with a similar styled graphic?
Odd choice thinking back.
Featured in one of their videos, a track called kick maybe?

The one below it is a Mark Gonzales, not sure if the vision is a psycho stick, There is also a Nicky Guerreo, Rob Roskopp, couple of Jim Thiebalds, happy days
