Off, because they sound better.
There is zero practical benefit as shields are there in order to protect your bearings from dirt and moisture.
I skate areas prone to having sand blowing around and yet Iâll always pop the shields off my Swiss. I like the noise they make and, most importantly, riding shieldless bearings makes people think youâre cool.
If you do this youâll work out that you do not need pointless gimmicks
What a blast from the past this is - this was for a school project back in the day. Im now at University studying product design and i might just revisit this idea now
