From what I’ve understood, I’ll need to spray paint the lot in black as a better base to apply the proper colours.
Why can’t they just sell this stuff already finished??

Yeah unless you’re doing white or yellow then generally a black base coat is the way
Yeh you can spray them black, grey what ever it doesn’t really matter too much. You can also do black then a lighter colour above to know where your highlights and shadows are but I haven’t gone that far yet
