Yeah man Welcome to hell was mind blowing in a whole new way and I don’t think anything since has had that impact , some very close. And pj , was like the new turbo Penny .
I remember the first time I heard about Welcome to Hell. I was 14 the summer it came out and this older dude I skated with all the time used to hook me up with copies of every new vid that came out among other things. Absolute legend. I remember him telling me about Maldonado landing in some stairs, ollieing over a gigantic wall, Barley skating to Sabbath, JT destroying everything in sight, Satva being so stylish and all that. Got the vid a couple days later and my mind was blown for sure! Watched it every day for a really long time. Funnily enough I watched it again last weekend.
PJLWHL for sure, just thinking about it makes me wish my shoes were more destroyed than they are, haha. The way he dressed, skated and this kinda mysterious thing about him made him the ultimate skate rat.
And yeah, 360 flips are definitely the most satisfying trick for me.
