I wish I’d known, just boring old thai tonight.

Yeah but your version of boring could mean almost anything.

Don’t forget the processed truffle sauce and ideally some strawberries in the spirit of Cab.

See the recipe for my favorite Asian Chicken Salad Sandwich:

  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken, mayonnaise, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic powder, celery, green onions, and red bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Mix well until the chicken salad is evenly coated.

  • Toast the bread slices if desired.

  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing the chicken salad on one slice of bread and top with lettuce or arugula, if using.

  • Add the second slice of bread on top and press down gently.

  • Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.

With bot status unconfirmed I feel like this is a risky click

Been loving corned beef and mustard sarnies as of late. Used to be corned beef and brown sauce as a kid.

Creates some pretty offensive bottom burps mind.

You should try some panackalty. North east war delicacy. My nana used to make the best one with corned beef, carrots, baked beans, gravy and potatoes. The baked beans in the sauce added was her special. Everyone in the north east makes it slightly differently - Panackelty - Wikipedia

Any other NE heads for a good panak recipie

That sounds absolutely amazing. I miss my man’s cooking so much.

Aye my nan used to make something similar but not with baked beans! Might give it a go.

Shout out to all the nan’s.

Its fine, as long as the ratio is right. You dont want a full spud going in there

I could easily eat a boiled potato on its own in a sandwich. Thick white bread, butter and salt. Sounds good.

My mum used to make mashed potato and carrot or pea sandwiches and to this day it repulses me. Must be 20 years since I’ve seen one and I’ve never got over it.
