That’s alot of meccarno! This week I’ve been referred to a specialist who might fuse my spine. Really hope it doesn’t come to that.
Where abouts? I’ve got degenerative disc disease and two of my vertabrae are fused at the bottom, I can’t really tell the difference and it’s much less painful now they’re not grinding together.

Yeah it isn’t great and I do worry about the future. Obviously I don’t know your exact circumstances but have you had cortisone injections? They are witchcraft, in a good way.
Yeah ddd. 2 discs in my lower back are completely gone. I’ve only just been referred so still not 100% sure what they will do with me and my internet research make me think the worst.

Mate who we spoke about in text about building, he had very very similar and had a big op well over a year ago, he’s back onsite with no bothers, but he does not do the heavy stuff just incase, but feels normal. Can link you up if you want any advice etc?
For the injection, you get a super strong local and a sedative, and I think milage may vary but I was completely pain free for the first time in years. Lasted about six months.
I haven’t had the op as my disc is also completely gone and scans show that they’re fusing on their own because they are basically smushed together pretty tight. They had to be careful that my spinal cord wouldn’t get trapped between them but it definitely seems better. I do some stretches a few times a day too which helps way more than I expected.
