Fallen have always toed a weird line iconography wise. Name change from 88 etc.

Oh I was under the impression that 88 became fallen when it turned out there the 88 logo was very similar to something the SS used. I might have made that up.

And 88 had a bit of an ‘Oh…’ moment when they realised that 88 is used by far right groups to reference ‘HH’ (heil hitler).
Had some 88 Strubings and they were a good shoe, it did feel a bit weird though once the penny dropped with the name. Didn’t make the link right away ha.
I knew I hadn’t (entirely) made it up!
Had a few pairs.
Best ones I had were all white and really nice simple cup sole shoe.
