Shoes

I got a bit frustrated the other day because I had too much choice.

Remember when you were a kid you had one pair of shoes for what, a year. That went on till you got some money and then you had your skate shoes and your chillers, then your skate shoes got knackered and your chillers became your skate shoes and you got new chillers.
I think I did that for about a decade.
Now, complete free for all.

I’m no doubt an amateur compared to some of you guys but lockdown/covid has me almost into double figures in unworn shoes. It’s been a comfort thing I guess!

Always think of this part when I see shell toes. Underrated classic!

Got those Angelides too. Is a shelltoe mid not a Pro Model? Although Pro Models don’t have a velcro strap… Let’s see those from the side @Mark

They’re called pro shells

Oof I always wanted some of those. Were they ever in the proper skate line?

Wow, crazy. Heel tab going all the way around is mad.

There was the Angelides, then they did a skate Pro Model, then Tyshawn’s first shoe was a pretend-alligator version.

Maybe the regular Pro Model came out after the TJ one actually. Vague memories of getting them both around the same time and then not wearing either.

Pro model been around for ages, no? Like back into the 80s at least

No, never in skate line afaik

Of course, I mean the skate version.

Angelides was actually on and they did the Bast one as a tribute. Likewise Kareem and Drake.

What about Blondey’s, that is an All Star right?

Edit: Oh it’s called a Superstar? Huh?

I had these in white with red and black stripes.

About 3/4 way down.

He was rockin these when I saw him in NYC I’m sure. Defo one of my fave street sightings

Strange side story there is some really cheesy 90s dance song that I always hear ‘Richard angelides’ in the lyrics

Thought he was wearing these for a second:

They look good though and the logo at the back is less of an issue.
