Shoes

Way better than the first.

Nice chiller at the very least. Just a pity you need feet less than two inches wide to wear Adidas.

Why a chiller?

It looks very very functional.

The laces look very exposed on those and the first one, but then I’m not hugely into the design overall so I’m not bothered. More interested in trying the Puig’s now they’re a bit cheaper.

Yeah I agree. Just think there’s some shoes nice enough to style out in the pub as well as skate in. Then there’s others which are work horses only good for skating in. This one could do both, it’s a compliment.

Ah got you.

I thought BDF’s comment about not much ollie protection was a bit weird since almost every good skate shoe doesn’t have any.

Agreed it looks like a good chiller and skate shoe.

Looks surprisingly traditional, given what so many of their other shoes look like.

Don’t know if this is good or bad but it looks like a skate shoe

Would run

Maybe not protection then, the seam where the toe cap joins looked like itd be where Id blow out the ollie spot. Dont listen to me though, I skate twice a year at the minute

I see what you mean there.

Very nice!

Adi seem to be able to hit the nail on the head when making a decent modern skate shoe that looks like it could have come from their archive.

Didn’t Busenitz and Silas design their shoes from pulling elements from the archive and drawing it all together? That sounds like fun.

Best thing about the mids is that they’re mids. That’s the shoe I’ve bought most copies of, ever (all of them except the green) and unless this comes out in all leather I won’t bother. That suede toe is too Hi-Tec for me, much as it’ll be better for flicking than leather. Maybe an all-suede version, black with white, would be nice, but these look too much like every other current adidas. I’m glad the tongue still has that bit on top, that lets your trousers sit on them nicely, but hopefully there’ll be other materials and colours. Glad they’ve still got his name on, at least.

Omfg gunna grab a pair now.

That looks a LOT better than the first shoe to me. I’m a sucker for green and white though.

Can’t really see the shoes as earings trends catching on
